Select File > Import from the main menu.
I now understand what I said to the left in my original post. I selected the speed/duration option and changed it to whatever I wanted and clicked OK and nothing happened. Open the file in Photoshop, save it again, and try to link the file in Premier Pro.
Save and import as a composition in Ae.

In the default keyboard layout options, there should be two options called Adobe Premiere Pro Default Options. Choose the one not currently selected or try both.

The pen works as an option. Don't worry if you can't uninstall Adobe Premiere Pro, there is a very easy solution (2 actually). Open the Effects panel, find the Trim and drag it to the clip you want to trim, then open the Effects Controls panel.
